Mili: Janhvi Kapoor unveils poster of her next with Mathukutty Xavier

The film is an official remake of a Malayalam and Telugu film, Helen, which was released in 2019.

Janhvi Kapoor, on Wednesday, unveiled the poster of her upcoming project, Mili, helmed by Mathukutty Xavier. The film poster has already stirred up the internet as many fans including Janhvi Kapoor’s sister, Shanaya Kapoor, came out to show support for the thriller Hindi drama.
The film is an official remake of a Malayalam and Telugu film, Helen, which was released in 2019.

The poster which was uploaded by Janhvi Kapoor shows her smiling and turning her head toward the camera as can be seen wearing a backpack. The poster also shows the character’s name which is Mili Naudiyal, and her age is 24 years, and her Qualification, that is B.Sc. Nursing graduate written on the poster. The poster is a disguised representation of what the film stands for. In the post, Janhvi wrote In 1 hour her life is going to change.

Many fans as well as friends and family rushed the social media post to shower the actor with love and adulation for her upcoming film. Even Janhvi’s sister joined hands with the fans to show her love as she commented a heart emoji on the film poster. Even Maheep Kapoor, star of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, had come out to show her adulation for Janvhi’s upcoming film.

According to reports, the film will follow Janhvi Kapoor, playing Mili, where Mili finds herself in the situation where she finds herself stuck in a freezer for an hour. Mili, played by Janhvi, will find herself in a freezer as she navigates her way out without dying.

The film will star Manoj Pahwa and Sunny Kaushal alongside Janvhi in the survival thriller which is produced by Boney Kapoor. It will be the first time father, Boney Kapoor, and Daughter, Janhvi Kapoor would have worked together in a production.

Mathukutty Xavier also directed Helen, which inspired the remake of the Milli and also won a national award for the film.

Veteran actor Mushtaq Khan, who appeared in several Hindi films and was particularly remembered for his role in the 2007 comedy Welcome, has died at the age of 56.

Khan was known for playing supporting characters across Hindi cinema and had worked in films spanning several decades. His role as Balu in Welcome remains among his best-known performances.

Mushtaq Khan’s film career

Mushtaq Khan appeared in a wide range of films during his career. His filmography included Aashiqui, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Gopi Kishan, Krantiveer, Raja, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Jodi No. 1 and Hera Pheri.

He also featured in more recent films including Stree 2, Gadar 2, Baby John, Dhoom Dhaam and Jaat. His filmography lists acting work continuing into 2026.

In Welcome, Khan played Balu, a supporting character in the comedy starring Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor and other prominent actors.

Khan’s career also included television work, with his credits spanning a wide range of acting roles over the years.

Mushtaq Khan dies at 56

The actor’s death was reported on September 24, 2026. Reports said Khan had been undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with liver cancer and had been hospitalised for around 15 days. Further details surrounding his death were awaited in the initial reports.

Mushtaq Khan was 56. IMDb lists his date of birth as December 31, 1969.

Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have welcomed their second child, a baby girl. The couple announced the arrival of their daughter on Instagram on Saturday through a post featuring a baby’s footprint.

The newborn is the couple’s second daughter. Deepika and Ranveer became parents for the first time in September 2024, when they welcomed their daughter Dua.

The couple has not announced the name of their newborn daughter in the post.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s last spotting

Just a day before the announcement, Deepika Padukone visited Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple with Ranveer Singh and his parents.

Deepika was seen wearing an orange and purple kurta set, while Ranveer wore a purple kurta with white trousers. The visit came as the couple awaited the arrival of their second child.

Interestingly, the couple had also visited Siddhivinayak Temple in September 2024, shortly before the birth of their first daughter Dua.
