After a long wait of four years, Indian 2 finally hit the big screen on Friday. A continuous cult classic drama released in 1996, Indian, the film was directed by S Shankar featuring Kamal Haasan in the lead role.
The film features casts including S J Suryah, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth Bobby Simha, Vivek, Samuthirakani, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalidas Jayaraman, Nedumudi Venu, Gulshan Grover and Delhi Ganesh among others. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
Indian 2 film is one of the biggest projects by Shankar, with a budget of Rs 150 crore. Social media users have expressed their views on the film and are disappointed as the film missed the mark with Indians.

Sid is okay, and BGM is okay, but SJ Surya has no scope but cringe scenes throughout the climax fight. Shankar disappointed fans and wasted opportunity in dull, a user wrote on X.
